    Paste a post link and joopik keeps its photos, videos and caption in your library. Or bring in images, videos and documents from your PC.

    File each item under topics up to three levels deep, add tags, and write notes with links to related references.

    One search covers everything you have kept. Open an item, go back to the original post, or show the file in File Explorer.

Your folder, your files

Your library is a folder you choose — ordinary files you can open, copy and back up. Uninstalling the app leaves it untouched.

Topics, tags and notes

Nested topics for structure, tags for everything that cuts across, and notes that hold your thoughts and reference links.

One search

Look across saved posts and your own files at once, then narrow down by topic or tag.

Export and backup

Export to folders, download a ZIP per item, create full backups, and run a library check to confirm every file is intact.

PIN and hidden library

A 4-digit app PIN locks the screen. A separate hidden library is encrypted with its own 6-digit PIN that is stored nowhere.

18 languages. joopik follows your Windows display language, or you can pick one in Settings.

Handy details

Small things that make a big difference.

  • Arrange the photos in an itemDrag photos, videos and files into the order you like (Ctrl+←/→ works too). The first one becomes the thumbnail in the list.
  • Rename topicsChange a topic’s name whenever your system changes. The items filed under it stay there.
  • Paste instead of saving firstCopied an image? Paste it with Ctrl+V when adding files. Right-click to paste into any text field.
  • Better video playbackVideos remember your volume and can be played full screen.
  • A Trash that forgivesDeleted items wait in the Trash. Restore them, or delete them permanently when you’re sure.
  • Pause any timePause saving and resume later. joopik also pauses by itself when Instagram limits requests.

Keep private items in hidden mode: a separate, encrypted library that doesn’t show up anywhere.

Hidden mode

A second library that no one else can open.

Hidden mode opens the hidden library: a separate library inside joopik, with its own items, topics and tags. It isn’t shown in any menu, and it opens only with its own 6-digit PIN.

  • Encrypted, not just hiddenEverything in it — every photo, video, file and the data file itself — is encrypted with AES-256, using a key made from your PIN.
  • No PIN, no way inThe PIN is not stored anywhere, and there is no reset, recovery or back door. Without it the contents cannot be decrypted — not by you, and not by us.
  • Out of sightThe folder is hidden in File Explorer, and anyone who finds it sees only encrypted data.
  • Gone in one keyPress Esc and joopik closes hidden mode at once and goes back to your regular library.

The 4-digit app PIN locks the screen; files in the regular library are not encrypted. If you forget the hidden mode PIN, what’s inside is lost for good.

Private by design

No server. No tracking.
Nothing leaves your PC.

joopik has no server of its own, so there is nothing to upload to. The developer never receives your saved content, your notes or how you use the app.

  • No joopik accountNothing to sign up for. Open the app, choose a folder, start saving.
  • Your password stays with youYou sign in on Instagram’s own page inside the app. joopik never sees or stores your password.
  • No telemetry, ads or analyticsNo crash reports either. Updates and purchases go through the Microsoft Store.

Good to know

Honest notes before you start.

  • Saving posts uses your own Instagram account. Instagram’s terms restrict automated collection, so your account could be limited. joopik spaces out its requests and pauses by itself when it meets a limit, but it cannot remove that risk.

  • Saved content belongs to its creators. Keep it for personal reference only, and don’t repost or distribute it. joopik has no sharing features.

  • The hidden library’s PIN cannot be recovered. If you forget it, what’s inside can’t be opened again — not by you, and not by us.
